Instagram launched a new feature, Story Comments, where anyone, or you can comment on anyone’s story, like post comments.

How to comment on Instagram Story?
If someone sets their story comment privacy as public, so you can comment on their story. Simply, view any story and click on comment icon in the bottom of the story. Now you can comment.
How to Enable or Disable comments on Instagram Story?
- Open Instagram and go to your profile and Click on the 3 dots or settings menu.
- Scroll now down and go to comments in the ‘how others can interact with you’ section.
- Click on stories.
- Now, click on Off to disable comment on the story, click on people you follow to allow only people from your following list to comment, or click on everyone to enable comments for all.
You can also block specific people from commenting on your Instagram Story comments.
Block Someone From Commenting on Instagram Story
- In the story comment control setting, click on ‘block comments from’.
- Now search the person name and click on block.
Now, this specific person can’t comment on your story. That’s how, you can control Instagram story comments.
